Our Collaborative Nursing Programs
The Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (SCBScN), the After Degree Nursing Program (ADNP) and Collaborative Nurse Practitioner Program (CNPP) are offered jointly by the University of Regina and the Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM (SCBSCN)
Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Students graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), preparing them for entry-level nursing roles. There are several pathways to complete the program:
- Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs) can complete the program in just two years through our laddering option.
- Bilingual students fluent in both French and English may choose to enroll in our bilingual option
After Degree Nursing Program
The After Degree Nursing Program (ADNP) provides applicants who hold a degree in another field an opportunity to complete the Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (SCBScN) program in two years.
Collaborative Nurse Practitioner Program
Registered Nurses with active licensure are welcome to apply for the Masters in Nurse Practitioner program.
“I am very grateful and very blessed to be able to have gone through this program and to take what I learned and contribute back to First Nations people in the North. It expanded my thinking, broadened my scope, and filled huge gaps in my knowledge base. I feel privileged to be able to put my new skills to use, as this degree is not only valuable for me but for entire communities. The number of people I can provide services to is immense.”
