Please ensure that you have received a Welcome Letter from nursing@uregina.ca before registering for a mandatory group advising session.
Step 1: Read the New Student Welcome Package:
The 2025 Welcome Package will be posted March 2025.
Step 2: Register for Mandatory Academic Group Advising Session:
Information on how to register for group advising and available dates for your site are listed in your New Student Welcome Package.
Please wait for your emailed welcome letter from nursing@uregina.ca before signing up for a group advising session. This welcome letter will be your indication to sign up for one of the sessions outlined in your New Student Welcome Package.
Step 3: Find Your Username and Passwords for Your UR Accounts:
The following guides cover the training for UR Self-service, U of R email and UR Courses (click on links to access guides):
- Finding Your University of Regina USERNAME and Setting Your PASSWORD
- This will be your username and password for UR Courses and U of R email.
- Accessing UR Self-Service
- Your username will be your UR ID (200XXXXXX) and your password by default is your birthday (DDMMYY). You will be prompted to change your password. Check your personal information to ensure it is correct and update your preferred email address to ensure it is correct.
- Accessing University of Regina E-Mail via Outlook
- This will be the username and password you found above. Your email address will be your username@uregina.ca. For more information about your U of R email, please visit: M365 Hub | University of Regina (uregina.ca).
- Accessing UR Courses
- You will log in with the username and password you found above.
Note: Accessing UR Courses is required to complete your Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training. Students will receive access to WHMIS after registering for a mandatory group advising session. The links to access UR Self-Service, UR Courses, and your U of R email can be easily found on the Student Central page of the University of Regina website.
Step 4: Complete the Risk Management Checklist from your New Student Welcome Package:
Register in the appropriate training courses and ensure required documents are submitted to the site you are attending. Ensure that these certificates are completed and submitted according to the directions and deadlines outlined your New Student Welcome Package.
Step 5: Check Your Email Regularly for Updates:
Once you are accepted into the SCBScN program, please ensure to check your email frequently for news and updates. Ensure that your preferred email is updated in UR Self-Service. Once you have attended mandatory group advising we will contact you through your uregina email.
